Madoc Post Production is a specialist boutique Remote Post Production Facility based in the heart of Cape Town, which services the Television, Feature Film, Commercial and Music Video industries.

We provide world-class Post Production Services for Dailies Creation, Offline Editing, DI Colour Grading, Online Finishing, VFX integration, DIT or Data Wrangling and On-Set Editing.

We have had to adapt during the Covid pandemic and we are now fully mobile and can work remotely.

DIT

We make sure all your media (footage) is backed up safely and without errors giving you piece of mind. We can also handle all your Colour Management on set.

Grade

Using our DaVinci Resolve DI System, we bring out the best of your footage. HD, 4K and beyond is no problem for us. We will make sure your film looks as amazing as it should.

Digital Dailies

We are able to work around the clock and are here to help anytime seven days a week, whether we are processing thousands of hours of rushes ready for your offline edit, or delivering file-based masters across the globe.

We guarantee the integrity of your material.

VFX

We offer a variety of services from Compositing, Paint-Outs and Motion Graphics. We can bring your vision to life.

We have a talented selection of Artists to make sure your Visual Effects is as amazing as it should be.

On-Set Edit

We edit as you shoot so you know exactly what has been shot. We provide supervision and advice to make sure you get what you need for your final product.

Conversions

We offer a full range of standards conversion options, including frame-rate conversion and audio re-pitching.

Offline Edit

Feature Films, Commercials, TV Shows, Music Videos, we do it all. Your story, your product, your vision. We work in HD, 4K and beyond. Our suites have been designed to inspire whilst offering our clients exceptional comfort.

Madoc's offline cutting rooms have the latest Avid, FCPX and Adobe Premiere. They have natural light, aircon and free Wi-Fi connectivity.

Workflow

Madoc will create the very best workflow to your delivery by helping you through the post production process with the least amount of stress. It doesn't matter what the source material, camera or delivery format is.

Online

With a well equipped 12-Core Mac Pro and a calibrated Eizo 4K Monitor and hardware to make sure your production is within technical broadcast specifications.

We use Avid Media Composer, Davinci Resolve and the Adobe Suite to get the job done.

File Transfers

When you need to move dailies and large files across the globe, we use Media Shuttle by Signiant.

We can offer once off transfers or shared portals, allowing teams of remote users access.

WHO IS MADOC?

I am a motivated and results-driven Offline/Online Editor, Colourist, and Post-Production Supervisor/Producer with a successful career of working with renowned brands to produce commercials, TV shows, and longform films spanning more than 12 years.

I have great team playing and team building skills with remarkable knowledge of the key specialties in the film and media industry and have extensive experience of working in 4K / UHD Post Production with over 320 hours of Broadcast TV and Cinema material to my name. I possess outstanding analytic, fast-learning, and quick-thinking capabilities used to great effect in digital imagery. I am able to run all post production for any production from shoot to Cinema or Broadcast.

I am a dynamic communicator and team player able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines with or without supervision. I have worked with some great companies in the industry and on some big productions such as Survivor, Master Chef and Fear Factor.

I have delivered projects to various distributors and broadcasters such as Blue Ant Media, Off The Fence, Banijay International, Nat Geo, Skye TV, The Food Network, MNET, Kyknet, Via, Smithsonian Network and TLC to name a few.
